Handle
1. Handle
In programming terms a way of describing how your going to respond to a particular event. For example, you might want to handle a mouse by pausing the Movie (or whatever).
2. Handle
A handle is a part of, or attachment to, an object that can be moved, stretched, re-sized or skewed used by the cursor. For example select an object with the Free Transform Tool
and you will see the objects Handles:
The black squares are the Handles:
Drag the Handles to change the objects shape.Try one or a combination of the following:
Resize:

Drag the corner or side handles to resize:Note: If you drag the handles towards the centre of your symbol you will drag right through and end up with a back to front symbol:

Drag the Symbol through the centre and out the other side:
Rotate:
Drag from just outside the handles to rotate:
Skew:
Drag between the handles to skew:Tip: As you move the cursor the Mouse will change shape so that you know which action is active:
