Text Blocks: Fixed Width & Expanded

This mini tutorial is designed to show you the difference between Fixed Width Text Blocks and Expanded Text Blocks and how to change the Text Blocks form one form to another.
Expanding Width Text Block
Expanding Width Text Blocks are used for headings and other single lines of text like this:
To create an Expandable Text Block:
Note: Dynamic & Input Text is by default Fixed Width.
Note: You can always tell an if a Text Block is Expandable by the circle icon in the right side:
The circle on the left denotes an expandable Text Block.
The circle can also be on the bottom left. See: Static, Dynamic & Input TextImportant:
- To see the circle you must be in the Text Tool:

- The cursor must be in the Text Block - Click inside the Block. The cursor will Flash:
The flashing cursor can be located anywhere within the Text Block.Note: If you can see a square
instead of a circle double Click Square
and it will become a Circle:
Fixed Width Text Block
Fixed Width Text Blocks are used for paragraphs of text like this:
To create a Fixed Width Text Block:
Note: You will see the Text Block Expand out as you Drag:
A Fixed Width Text Block has a Square on the left side:
The Square on the left denotes a Fixed Width Text Block.
The square can also be on the bottom left. See: Static, Dynamic & Input Text
Converting From Expandable to Fixed Width:

Note: The Circle will convert to a Square and the Text block will become an Fixed Width Text Block.
Converting From Fixed Width to Expandable:

Note: The Square will convert to a circle and the Text block will become an Expandable Text Block.
