Hi!
While working in Flash I came across a problem concerning adding ActionScript code to a button on the stage. I selected a certain button on the stage, and wanted to add some code in the Actions-button panel, but it kept saying Actions-frame and didn't turn into Actions-button panel although I had selected my button on the stage.
What might have caused this problem and how can I solve it?
Than you very much!

Yes, I'd very much like to, but the fact is that my professor and I were doing some exercises with students in a computer classroom and they all had to download the same exercise from the Internet with some buttons attached to the stage, and on some computers everything worked fine, while on several ones the problem occured... :?:

Hi,
Try to deselect everything by clicking on a blank area of the Stage and then re-click on your button. You need to make sure that only one object is selected.

Thanx, but I've tried it already...

Well that one baffles me - I have no other ideas...
The only thing to suggest is what Eddie already suggested - upload the file and we will have a look and see if the error re-occurs
Sorry that we have not been much help.

Perhaps the layer is locked? If u select a button then lock the layer, it will revert to frame selection :? .
