11web Animation: Swap text with a Blur

1. Open Photoshop. Let's begin by creating a new file. Go to: File > New
   Make it 200 X 100 pixels on a transparent background. Hit OK.
   
2. Choose a color and select the Text tool from the tool palette.
   
   
   
3. Type something large to fill the space.
   
   
   
4. Now, go to: Layer > Duplicate Layer
   Hit OK. Go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. Set angle to 0 degree's and distance to 25 pixels.
   
   
   
5. Next, Go to: Layer > New > Layer > OK
   Repeat step 1 thru 3, using the same color, this time with different text.
   
6. Go to ImageReady. Click on the Jump To ImageReady button, located at the bottom of the Tool palette.
   
   
   
   The Layers palette should now look like this: (If not visible, go to: View > Layers).
   
   
   
7. Now, Go to the Animation palette. (If not visible at present, Go to: Window > Show Animation).
   Click the black arrow on the upper right of the palette and Go to Make Frames From Layers. (Frames will be generated of all the Layers).
   
   
   
8. Set time delay to each frame by clicking on each frame, then clicking on the 0.
   
   
   
9. You may now view the animation by hitting the Play button in the palette. Go back and adjust frame delays as needed. (Alternately you may also preview the animation in a browser by clicking the Preview in Browser button in the Tool palette.)

10. Save the file with: File > Save Optimized or File > Save Optimized As
