Step Twelve: Easing

Easing is term that refers the speed that an animation moves. It can move at a constant speed (no easing) or accelerate of decelerate. These are called Ease In and Ease Out.

Ease Out - Slows Down

To use the Ease effect:

1. Create a: Motion Tween (see beginning of this tutorial)
2. In the Timeline select: Frame 1


Select Frame 1 of a Motion Tween.

3. If the Timeline is closed, open it: Window > Properties > Properties (Ctrl F3)
4. Select the: Ease Option


Ease In is negative and Ease Out is positive.

5. If you wish to customise your Ease press the: Edit Button
6. Drag the: Graph Line


Drag the Graph line to change the Ease.

7. Click: OK
   
8. Test your Movie by pressing: Enter
