Step Two: Setting Up the Text Box

The Text box is used to display the random number.

  1. Select the: Text Tool
  2. On the Stage drag out a: Text Box
  3. Return to the standard: Selection Tool
  4. If the Property Inspector is closed, open it: Window > Properties (Ctrl F3)
  5. In the Property Inspector select: Dynamic Text

  6. If you wish select: Show Border Around Text
  7. For the Variable Name type: myDisplay


    8. The Variable Name is: myDisplay

  8. Select any Type setting that you might want: Font Styles
