Step Five: Creating the Scroll Button Down

  1. Select your Scroll Button Up from the stage and go to Edit > Copy (Ctrl C)
  2. Select the first frame of the Scroll Button Down layer on the timeline
  3. Click your stage and go to Edit > Paste in Center (Ctrl V)
  4. Right click the pasted object and select Duplicate Symbol...


    Select Duplicate Symbol...
  5. From the Duplicate Symbol Box, name the symbol: Scroll Button Down
  6. Click: OK
  7. Double Click your Scroll Button Down to edit it
  8. Make any necessary changes so that your Scroll Button Down and Scroll Button Up button's are different; they should be distinguishable as Up and Down arrows:

  9. Return to Scene 1 by selecting the Scene 1 button:

  10. Select both the Text Box and the Scroll Button Down and from the Align panel select: Align Bottom Edge
  11. Select both the Scroll Button Down and the Scroll Button Up and from the Align panel select: Align Right Edge


    Your stage should look something like this.
