Step Six: Creating the Scroll Bar MC

1. Go to: Insert > New Symbol
2. Type the name: Scroll Bar MC
3. Set the Behavior Type: Movie Clip
4. Select: OK
   
   
5. Create a Scroll Bar within your Scroll Bar MC (Up, Over, and Down states are not needed). Try to make the movie clip 20 x 60 pixels

6. Return to Scene 1 by selecting Scene 1 button:
7. Select the first frame of the Scroll Bar layer on the: Timeline
8. Drag the Scroll Bar MC from the Library onto the stage and place it next to the text box and under the: Scroll Button Up
9. Select the Scroll Button Up , Scroll Button Down , and the Scroll Bar MC and select: Align Left Edge
10. Using the Up Arrow Key, move the Scroll Bar MC so its top touches the bottom of the Scroll Button MC (zoom in if necessary).

11. Right-click the Scroll Button MC and select: Convert to Symbol
12. Type the name: Scroll Track MC
13. Set the behavior: Movie Clip
14. Select: OK
