The aim of the tutorial is to learn how to use the check box components that comes with Flash 2004. Active check boxes are the type of multi check selection boxes that you often see on forms. There are two ways of using check boxes: passive and active. Passive being the more common. This tutorial will show you how to use passive check boxes. The previous tutorial shows you how to use active check boxes.
Most check boxes are passive. This means that you need to click a submit button before any action is done. An active text box is one that changes something as soon as it is selected or unselected. Below are examples of both active and passive check boxes:
